NEW YORK(AP)- Industrial frontman of rock group Nine Inch Nails,Trent Reznor announced early this morning the cancellation of the rest of the band's European and U.S. tour. The cancellation came just hours after sustaining a broken right leg at last night's Las Vegas show. "He(Reznor) tried catching himself after an over zealous fan made her way on stage nearly tackling him causing them both to fall off the stage," said The Joint owner Stephen Callahan. The fall caused a comminuted(multiple fractures) break in Reznor's right leg. Reznor was rushed to Mclean Memorial Hospital where doctors told him he would require up to 4 months in a cast. News of the cancelled tour is not sitting well with Nine Inch Nails fans as negative reactions are already being reported. Several are due to outrageous ticket prices paid to this exclusive,in many cases sold out, small venue tour. "Reznor is most apologetic for the mishap but say's he will do what he can to make up the tour next spring," said Nails spokesman Richard Anderson. "It's such an unfortunate situation and we are sorry for the inconvience to our fans." It is yet to be decided whether or not tickets can be returned to their point of sale or if they will be valid during next year's tour.
