No new job for me
Well I had my second interview at Dillard's and it went rather well. However, I am more than likely not getting a job there right now. They said that they did not have anymore spots left, but would be hiring for Christmas help soon so they would keep me in mind for that. So hopefully I will get the job then.
On another note..............Michael and I went to Pinehurst this past Sunday to see my family. Stori and Steve where out here from CA with their little girl Hollis. I haven't seen them since I got back from CA. And man did I miss them. Michael seemed to have a really good time with my family and even commented when we left and said that they were all really nice people. He and my dad went and played a few holes of golf by themselves. Gosh knows what they talked about. Just kidding. I was rather nervous about him meeting my family but he really handled it very well. He really didn't seem nervous at all and if he was I couldn't tell. I was actually impressed.
I also talked to Monica this weekend on the phone for about five hours. It was really great to talk to her. I really miss that girl. I miss all of our random dumbness and of course I miss our great spaghetti we made and vegetarian sloppy joes. Yum yum!!! I miss table dancing to footloose music and playing secret agents in Tower Village. She thinks that I should move out to CA in January when she moves from San Francisco to LA. I am about half tempted to do it too. I think I may need a change of pace and it would be awesome to live somewhere different for awhile. But we will have to see about that one.
This weekend I am helping my brother move to Charlotte to start college there. It will be interesting. And next weekend Bethy is coming down to go to the Fall Festival, so I am looking for some good times to be had with that also.
Well in closing my kindergartners are great. My life is great, I am happy and healthy and right now I really could not ask for anything more. Well ok that is not completely true, I would love to have more money than I do right now, but that will only come with time. ;-)
