controversial yet i love it~
okie usually i dun aprove malay films becos the story line is usually very cliche and i get bored to death easily...
but however, there's one movie i can finally approve and highly recommend for everyone to watch...it all started because i was curious as people around me says this story is good...so yea out of curiosity of how good it is, i finally went to watch it....
'Ombak Rindu' or 'Wave of Love' is based on a malay novel. To me this story is like Shakesphere meets Malay cinema. At the starting i thought its going to be some typical malay movie. But as the story progresses [despite i have already know what to expect in the end], the story just suck you in more and more. There's always an urge where you want to know what happens next. At the same time, you will doubt the ending might not be what you expected it to be. But thank god, it did end as a happy ending[or else we will be hearing news fans burning down cinema theatres in Malaysia... lolx]
okie lead actress, Maya Karin. Pretty lady and yea she brings out her character very well as a strong willed woman. Lead actor, none other than our local Singapore boy, ikemen 'Heartlander' policeman, Aaron Aziz. He really have up his acting skills ever since he went into the Malaysian entertainment business. and i must say his performance in this movie is subarashii~!
Typically, i dun like to watch Malay jiwang love story...but this movie, is totally different. I recommend everyone to watch. I cried a few times while watching this movie. So yea prepare tissue if you gonna watch it because this is an awesome tear jerking movie! it will definitely make you cry.
