Stars on Ice
Went to Stars On Ice last night. It was wonderful.
Evan Lysaceck only had 1 number but I think it was because he's still on Dancing With the Stars and is actually practicing for that with his dance partner (local TV did a piece about them practicing at a local dance studio most of the day before the ice show at night). But boy is he tall for a skater. He's at least 6 feet, which is very tall for a skater.
Todd Eldridge (41! and still has the star presence and jumps) and Michael Weiss (two words ...back flips) were both awesome and so were the two pairs. Charlie Davis with his mop of blond hair (yes it really looks like a mop!) and his partner Meryl White did their ice dancing short program that won them their silver medal.
And Ben Agosto from the pair skaters Agosto and Tanith Belbin (silver medalists in 2010 also) played his electric guitar and seems to be a pretty funny fellow.
Yuka Sato (former World Champion and now married to US pairs skater Jason Dungen) was awesome and so was Jeremy Abbott (US National Champion). BTW she's his coach and said that as soon as the tour was over it was back to training for next year for him.
Rachel Flatt (US National Champion -16 years old and an honor student in high school) also did a number. She must be on spring break. Sasha Cohen and Alissa Czisny were also very good.
Where do I sign up for tickets for next year?
