Im new to the NCAA Football & have ALWAYS been a NFL fan. My husband is a HUGE Florida State fan (Since we live rght down the street from FSU LOL) & Im slowly but surely learning everything about NCAA. I was wanting to know other people's opinion about FSU, coach Fisher, & the team this year. I think our defense is strong & we can get into the red

I totally agree with that from what Ive heard about the past with students, etc... I do give Fisher credit for actually stepping up to the plate as far keeping his team in check & actually suspending the players when they screw up! As far as Bowden goes, I thought/think he was a joke. This season, I think it was the Gators first game he was at the school shaking hands with the orange & blue students to promote his new book. Of course, he was interviewed & he kept saying he didnt care about FSU, was never going to attend another game, didnt want to speak to coach Fisher & only has once since he took over as the coach & that he only said hi to him cause he had to. I thought that was pretty crappy on his part after the school had named so much after him, put a statue of him in front of the stadium, etc... He showed his true colors, & I have no respect for him. I always pull for FSU regardless of who they are playing (thank you hubby for turning me into a fan lol) but I do agree that they have a long ways to go. My mother in law is a gator fan & we are expecting our first baby boy any day now... she came home with a gators onsie, & threw it out.... in front of her LOL
