Saturday was a nice break from the stress that now completely runs my life. I got to hang with Meghan in Hickory, and of course we went to A.C. Moore for the bead/yarn party. I haven't had so much silly fun in a long time. We wanted Beeg with us, but she had the boys and couldn't break away. We played with neon colored tribbles, and I gave impromptue bracelet making lessons in the bead aisle. Then I realized I had lost Meghan, so I called her on the cell phone. Turns out we were only a few aisles away from each other, and still ended up talking to each other on the phone in the same aisle like big dumb dummies. (I wonder why you drop the "b" from dumb when you make dummies? Hmmmmm...) Anyway, they came over the loudspeaker to announce the winner of a gift basket, and dammit, Meghan won! We were screaming like idiots in the middle of the store. Too much fun!
Afterward, we went to Coldstone for some AWESOME ice cream. I had Apple Pie A la Coldstone. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

Oh, by the way...on the way there I saw something that made me wish I had my camera. At the gas station just off I-40 there at LR Blvd, there is an ATM. A guy had parked his pick up truck there and was standign by the tailgate. Nothing weird about that, right? BUT he was standing there in those weird weight-lifting pants and a wife-beater doing arm curls with dumbbells. In a gas station parking lot. By the ATM. WTF?
