That's pretty cool! And a little freaky! Kind of reminds me of the premise of a cartoon in the late '90s called Recess. Or Maggie's "Great Escape" in an early Simpsons episode.

It's impressive that the entire school was able to organize as one. Mine certainly never did. My school was full of bad kids, but maybe our teachers just didn't antagonize us enough to give us a cause to fight for.

I remember several years later, the same thing was tried, and failed miserable, as kids had a third option: snack line. The thought, "Well I won't buy school food, but I'll buy these "nutritious" candy bars (still from the school) :P
