the only thing better than pork chops for dinner...
is two kinds of pork chops.
that is right folks 2 kinds. that is what I had for supper tonight. my aunt cooked up a storm, as per usual, and I received the cooked flesh winfall. plus some corn. for dessert, some coconut islands and strawberries - sweets.
after this we watched 'lord of war' starring nicholas cage. he plays a arms dealer. i don't know what it is about hollywood movies that they always come off as trite even when they are saying somethings that are at least somewhat interesting or important. of course this movie didn't really do any of those good things, but it was still trite. people in africa just can't stop killing each other. what a bunch of weirdos. and interpol gets trumped by the u.s. army. at least if it had been the band interpol the music would have been better.
hrm. what else? i went to see my friends house today. they just bought it. $425,000. It is a duplex they split with one of their ma's. they were all stressed and i was like 'hrm if they are so stressed maybe their place ain't so great.' but turns out it is absolutely ridiculously gorgeous. i couldn't believe how nice this place was. sheilagh rogers used to live there. and she did a bunch of the renovations I guess. candian celebrity renovations - live it!
i want a gorgeous house. hrm. maybe I should focus on owning something larger than a bed first. like two beds?
we went to this place called mitsy's that I am going to go to every day until i die. sour cream rhubarb muffins - gad damn!
last night i had a super awesome time. i hung out with aidan and his peeps, and amber and meghan showed up as well. before that I went for a good times a plenty dinner and a drink. i was a happy camper.
