So, I found an old Popolo magazine (March 2014 issue to be exact), and I want to talk about this, trying to make my opinions coherent in words LMAO.
I don't remember from who did I got this magazine. What I remember is, when I read it, I only read ARASHI's and HSJ parts??? because I only knew them.
Man, I sure as hell missed a LOT of things.
I wanted to talk about this magazine on Twitter but I think it would take so many tweets, might turned up to be a very long thread full of my flailing and cursing and unnecessary thirsting over members (who were still MINORS in this, mind you) and I think it'll annoy for my moots, so maybe it would be wiser to post it on LJ, ahem...
And also because I'm not comfortable of saying OH MY GOD SAKURAI SHO STEP ON ME on my twitter account.... idk why. What's the difference from posting it here anyway LOL
As the title suggest, I am transitioning from being an ARASHI fan only to, uhhhh, trying to like other JE groups (OMG where have I been, really). I've been trying to put more interest in Sexy Zone and Johnny's WEST since the beginning of this year. I've known them since some time ago, and I like them so far. The problem is, idk where to watch their appearances or to listen their songs, so I'm kinda stuck with seeing them whenever they guested in ARASHI's TV programs only. I don't actively seeking their contents either... ARASHI alone was enough for me.
That is, until, I re-discovered SixTONES.
IDK what got me into them. I knew them from that AniShi ep where 6T and Snow Man guested. That time, I didn't put any interest in ANY of the members (but I really like Kyomo's musical drawing! We both love Conan!). Several months later, my senpai from work talked about that Fugo Keiji anime in the work gc, and even mentioned that SixTONES provided the OP song. Again, I didn't put any attention to this.
Little did I know. Right.
(oh wow this intro is getting really long... I thought I could settle with talking about the magazine only. Turns out I need to give some background info about why am I slowly becoming a 6T fan. oh well.)
Maaaaybe because I keep seeing KyomoHoku on my Twitter TL, and because I am such a SakuMoto sucker, it got.... stuck? Even tho I only knew that "Ah, they're from Sixtones, eh wait, the 'ix' is silent. That's funny...". And then, because Tegoshit (I'm sorry not sorry) mentioned "Kyomoto, the kouhai that worshipped me" in his infamous burn book, again, the name kinda stuck. (At first I didn't know that Taiga is that Taiga from the KyomoHoku half tho.)
UNTIL.... (this doesn't make sense, but my brain never does, so,)
I went to a (supposedly) lunch date with Brian (my bf..... ahahaha). He cut his hair a month ago. Because I've become fully aware of Hokuto's existence, I thought that Brian's hair is styled like Hokuto (minus the perm) and I kept calling him "Hokuto. Hey, Hokuto!!!" I even asked him to google Hokuto and he also thought "Oh wow it kinda does look like him." We're both stupid, ftr. LOLOLOL
EVER SINCE THEN........... I searched about KyomoHoku on YouTube. And, after recovering from my shock because AN OFFICIAL JE YOUTUBE CHANNEL POSTED THIS??? IF SHOJUN WAS 10 YEARS YOUNGER THIS COULD BE THEM LOL, I watched this episode about KyomoHoku.
Everything went down spiralling since then. XD
My curiousity got the best of me. I keep watching and watching their videos, and I found that I like all the members???? Like, all of them INSTANTLY piqued my interest! XD Their videos got me real hooked up with them.
I still don't know who my ichiban is between the members. But I keep cooing whenever I see Kyomo being cute or getting lost in his own world. But I also like Shintaro because he keeps wearing shorts and it's reaaaaaally distracting he reminds me of a bear. A big, noisy, handsome bear. (To think that I would fall to an idol who is a year younger than me....) ALSO KOCHI. MY FELLOW PISCES. FINALLY SOMEONE WITH THE SAME SUN SIGN WITH ME. I like all six of them!
But please do NOT show me any Hokuto pics because he is as hazardous as Sho and by hazardous I mean looking at them making me feel things and I HATE IT LOL

(but oh my god he was 17 in this >_< not a minor, but barely an adult too)

I must say that, even tho I'm a Shori-tan, Kenty also awakens (?) something inside of me like whenever I see Hokuto and Sho. I hate myself.

I didn't know that JWest were parted into units. I haven't researched that much about them, though.

OK for the record, I want to k-word whomever styled Hokuto's hair.
What the fuck was this. This hairstyle was a disaster. It made him look like he's BALDING. GAH.
Anyway, like Johnny's WEST, this was 6T before they were 6T. But seeing the order of the pages, I think this was taken after their Bakaleya drama (oh yeah, this is why I said that I rediscovered 6T. It's because I've known them since their Bakaleya days. But I didn't know and wasn't interested in them. 6T and ARASHI are my JE karma. OK back to today's programming.)
HOKUTO!!!! FIRE WHOEVER STYLED YOUR HAIR LIKE THAT I BEG YOU. at least it made him look less distracting to me tho LOLOL I think there's a back story on why Hokuto and Jesse got paired up, separating the both of them from the rest of the Bakaleya members. But I don't remember what... So..... ahahaha (I need to do some research, I know, BUT IT'S JE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. IT'S HAAAAAARD)
Well at least Hokuto looked okay in this angle. I must say that it's weird to see Jesse looking all cool and composed like that. I'm to used to his DAHAHAHAH mood. Again, the world showed its unfairness because Jesse was born on the same year as me. I demand a 96L who looked like Shori, Nonchan and Jesse, pls. ty.

Ohhh where to start. I feel like Juri had his awkward moment in taking photoshoot can I call him Mas Juri???? He looked like my distant Javanese cousin XDD and I must say that his recent photoshoot has improved a lot!!! He look less awkward now. ;D 4 for you Mas Juri, you go Mas Juri!

Shintaro is literally a minor in this. My baby Shin-chan ;~; I wish I had a kouhai like him. He'll be making me restless, tho. So energetic. XD (pair him with Jesse and we have a chaotic duo.... I'd hate to stand near them tbh LOL)
KYOMO, ON THE OTHER HAND..... SO PRETTYYYYY????????? even tho his hair was also a questionable hairstyle. But it fitted him??? Seeing him with dark hair is 不思議！I like him better with blonde hair. Making him look like a Japanese Draco Malfoy XDDD

THE FUCK IS THIS XDDDDDDDDDD oh no, this was fun to read! And cheesy! Esp the HokuJe part!!!! Hokuto was like the childhood friend of the girl who helped her getting on with her crush, Jesse. I think I've read that shojo manga plot somewhere. LMAO
I just realized that Kyomo's hair made him looked like his dad................ It made him look 30 instead of 20, augh.
I get it why I skipped their part 6 years ago, tho. The hairstyle was really unappealing. I'm so sorry. But rest assured you guys are my karma now. Hahahahah.

Not gonna lie, I've been neglecting them in favor of putting all my attention span to 6T. I never knew the day when I can like other JE groups will came. I love their TikTok contents so much and I think I have to thank Aiba for that.
