Life update... (posting delays).
So, the plan for updating everything was to get it all up this weekend (updates to: Lupo Mutaret, Junkie 'Verse, Nostalgia 'Verse, Oasis 'Verse and work on my big bang being sent to my beta), unfortunately this has been the worst weekend known to man and that just isn't possible now. On Friday evenining my uncle's foster dog got loose and we spent all evening and a good chunk of Saturday looking for her. Thankfully, we got her home safely, but I was working night shift last night and therefore had no time to post later in the day.
I then returned home today to the devastating news that my little cat had died (peacefully, thank goodness) in his sleep whilst I'd been away. He was eleven years old, and has been my best friend for all of those years. I got him for my eighth birthday when he was a tiny kitten who never stopped crying, and he spent the years since then terrorising and attacking everyone who wasn't me. Many of my friends, and all of my family members, have scars from him, but to me he was the sweetest and most affectionate cat ever. Unbelievably, he was the boss of our Siberian husky, who on her first night in our house got a sharp smack on the nose and learnt then and there never to get on his bad side.
He loved trying to climb into people's handbags, ate the dog's food right out of her bowl as she watched, and he brought a smile to my face every day. I'll miss him dearly.
