I put in a new hard drive a few months ago and I stays in a heavy plastic shell, so there aren't any scratches. I'm thinking $700 - $775ish, but idk yet. I'll post specs later when I get around to cleaning off the hard drive and gathering the accessories.

this is not aluminum... it is a 13" black macbook/blackbook :) (new) 500gb hard drive, superdrive, 2GHz intel core 2 duo, 1gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, and i should have all of the discs it came with, the remote control, a/c adapters and i don't mind getting rid of it along with the shell... the shell is a big scratched but that's its job so that the computer is nice and scratch-free.

sounds like a nice computer. think ill pass though. i need somethin cheaper.
i think craiglist would be a good option or amazon

indeed. i have 3 and i at least wish i wasn't an apple snob. it would save me some money.
