The Day After
Last night, Ashley said that she wants us to be "friends". I'm sad about that for a number of reasons:
1. I still feel strongly for her, and i know she doesn't feel the same way towards me. Love needs to be reciprocal, or else feelings get hurt;
2. I feel like we had something special, and I worry that I might not be in a relationship like that for a long time; and finally,
3. I feel like I must have changed in order for her to stop feeling the way she did about me. I don't know what, but I think it must be me.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to deal with all of this. But, if anyone wants to try to cheer me up, go for it...
