Culverpalooza is coming up on Friday and Saturday. I hope I can play; I'm grounded since I'm failing AP English, and there's a chance that my folks aren't going to let me perform. That isn't so bad for me; I perform enough as it is. I just hate to let other people down, like Audri, Jessie, Hilary, Joy, and Josiah, who are counting on me to be able to play with them. Also, I know I must seem completely obsessed, but I swear that Ashley is avoiding me in the halls. She always walks right past me, a few times a day, never making eye contact or anything. It's sad; I feel like I'm losing a close friend in her.
