Rev100: Countdown - Three Sentence Ficting Meme

Mar 23, 2013 13:59

Starts: Now | Ends: in 100 hours (see countdown)

Three Sentence ficlets are one of my all-time favorite limits, they're good for people who think they can't write, and good for people who think they can write but have no time, and perfect for people with writers block.

Ficting new characters can be hard. And sometimes...it can be more than hard - it can be impossible.

So breathe, crack those knuckles and let's ease back into writing (god knows we'll have a whole lot more material in a few days).

[Questions you could ask yourself]
We know some of the story, but there are so many gaps -- what did Rachel do those 7 or whatever years away from Ben and the kids? And how did she get to Monroe in the first place? Why didn't Ben do anything? When did they meet Aaron? How long was Miles running that bar? Why is Nora doing anything? Has Jeremy got a crush on Miles or Monroe?

And it's always fun to ask WHAT IF: Would Charlie have really left Chicago without Miles if he'd refused to go with? Where are Maggie's kids? What if they're still alive? Could Aaron ever like-like Nora? What on earth does Danny do when he's not following Charlie around or being a hostage? What if Charlie's Monroe's kid, and he knows, and he doesn't care? What if Tom stages a coup? Where would Monroe go? What if Miles can't stop seeing the Rebels as a mock!miltary operation? What if Charlie goes dark side? Is there still time to get Danny brainwashed?

//Prompt format: One prompt per comment. Yes, you can prompt yourself. Yes, you can be Anon if you want.

_________

MOD NOTE: For the purpose of this challenge, a sentence will be defined as whenever a fullstop is used. And your prompts should be left in the understanding that whoever writes it will only have three sentences to wrap it up.

If you want to be creative and use '...' to space out your story and give it the pacing you can't give have without more fullstops, that's cool. If you want to use italics and lots and lots of commas - that's also cool.

Lonely Prompts. ( x)
Yes, you can copy and paste them here if you think this will finally get them off our combined conscious. Please note the original prompter tho: ie.  'mercscilla: Any/Any | Whatever happens, don't look back. Never look back.'

Spoilers.
If you're going to talk about anything you would consider speculation based on interviews regarding the second half of the season (ie anything after episode 1.10) warn for it, please.

RECS.
If you want to recommend your favorite fics (and obviously they won't be 3 sentence ones) there's a thread for that below.
