So now that we know that the M stands for both Miles and Monroe and is their promise of eternal love... Why did Monroe get an M tattoo (with his name as well) and (according to the footnotes) Miles didn't? Now we know Miles doesn't have one on his forearm and maybe the footnotes are wrong (they were wrong about Wheatley, but I hope they're right about Nora's age, cause 35 is great, 27? Not so much) and Miles has a tattoo hidden somewhere else on his body. So- does he have a tattoo or not? And if he doesn't- why did Monroe get one and he didn't? Speculate, make your case, be as cracky or as serious as you want.
- Miles does have a tattoo, it's just somewhere where the sun don't shine.
- Miles has a tattoo, but it's written in invisible ink and only Monroe can see it.
- Miles has a tattoo, but he's secretly a Jedi and "told" everyone not to notice it.
- Miles never got a tattoo. Monroe lost a bet and had to get it (cause only a douche would write his own name on his arm).
- Miles never got a tattoo. They were drunk one night and Monroe thought it was a good idea- Miles was more sober and got to make fun of Bass in the morning.
- Miles never got a tattoo. He's afraid of needles. Big pointy swords and knives? Not a problem. Needles? He passes out. Thank God Maggie was stitching his back and he could face the others, or he'd be hyperventilating in the Pilot. Edit: Why do you think he was holding Nora's hand? He was terrified! Thank God he was already lying down, he could always say he fainted due to blood loss.
- Miles never got a tattoo because he's Jewish/converted to Judaism. You're not supposed to mark your skin permanently, according to God. If you do, you're denied a Jewish Burial. Miles cares deeply about all this and his immortal soul. Actually what they do is cut off and burn the part of the skin with the tattoo- my mom told my brother before he got his first tattoo, he had no problem with the thought.
ETA: Miles never got a tattoo, cause Monroe loves marking him over and over and over....
