(I could have put this in the last post...but that would have required me remembering it at the time, since updating always leads to things moving around and I kinda hate that. So, new post it is.)

‘Revolution’ Star Tracy Spiridakos Joins Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Romantic Comedy (Exclusive)

Qoa Entertainment is producing the movie, which Finola Hughes will direct from a script by Christine Fry

Tracy Spiridakos, who starred on NBC's Revolution, is set to play the female lead opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Qoa Entertainment's romantic comedy “Byrd & the Bees,” TheWrap has learned.

Finola Hughes will direct from a script by Christine Fry, who is also producing the indie movie. The duo previously collaborated on “The Bet.”

Spiridakos will play Rebecca Byrd, a young woman who travels to Scotland to find and meet her biological father and winds up meeting her dream guy along the way.

Production is scheduled to start in September in Scotland. -- Via: The Wrap

In other news, Daniella is also doing a movie this year...um.

Revolution alum Daniella Alonso has been cast as Kevin James’ love interest in “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2,” an individual familiar with Sony's sequel told TheWrap.

Andy Fickman is directing the film, which is being produced by Adam Sandler's company Happy Madison.

The sequel finds Blart attending a Security Guard Expo in Las Vegas, where he takes on a group of dangerous art thieves.

Alonso will play Divina Martinez, the general manager of the Wynn Hotel, who is completely perplexed when Blart presumes that she's hitting on him. Flustered yet determined to clarify the situation, she reaches out to Blart several times, only to reinforce his original theory. -- Via: The Wrap
