Tiny article about Revolution shooting some scenes back in January - *spoilers* + a small news recap

January 21, 2014 | ‘Revolution’ filming brings bright lights, Friday night excitement to downtown
The NBC television series “Revolution” wrapped up an overnight shoot Saturday morning around 6 a.m.
The filming began Friday evening and residents were welcome to enjoy watching the activity.
During the visit, crews used special effects including lightning strikes and explosions for filming. Dummies covered in smoke were used to depict burning bodies after a lightning strike.
Filming was done on Talbot Street near the Kincl building and featured Taylor native Klifton Krueger, who is a stand in for series star Billy Burke.
Fans and bystanders stayed in the cold temperatures watched as the film crew set up various points of view and prepared for explosions and lighting effects.
Those who were willing to stay a little longer than others had the pleasure of meeting Burke, Elizabeth Mitchell and Zac Orth.
Karen Richter, co-owner of Ricther’s Furniture, who is a big fan of the series was excited when Burke came over to take a photo with her and greet the people still there watching.
While having her microphone put on, Mitchell thanked the people watching and advised them to stay warm. Orth also said hello and greeted the fans prior to filming.
Explosions and cars set on fire filled the night with excitement for the cast, crew and anyone who stayed up to watch.
“This is part of episode 15 of season two and is one of the most interesting episodes I have worked on so far,” Kruger said on his Facebook page.
“Revolution” will be filming in the Austin area until the end of April.
