WISHLIST (coz why the hell not):

+ I want a lot more Charlie this ep. ALOT MORE.

+ I don't want any who's the daddy nastiness. (We have no room for this storyline)

+ I want the Patriots to cause an epidemic that they can't control, and I wanna hear a few of them speak, or at least do more than make concerned faces and die. (I almost felt bad for those sentries that Charlie killed last week, coz that second one made a little frightened, shocked MY FRIEND IS DEAD sound)

+ Rachel needs to tone it the hell down. If she wants to be mean to someone, she can be mean to Insta.

+ Insta needs to have a personality that is not a rip off of any other character. (I know that's a stretch coz blood and doom and stuff)

+ Miles needs to ACT like he loves Bass. If he could stand up for him, or protect him just one frickin time on this stupid road trip that'd be nice.

+ I want them to half explain what's awaiting them in Texas and for Insta to just give them the patented Aaron 'SO this is my life now?' look.

+ Aaron and Grace and Pri...THAT WOMAN WHO'S NAME I CAN'T SPELL need to be really out of the box interesting and dynamic. I want to laugh and gasp and wave my hands at the screen in awe. (I know it's a long shot. That's why it's a wish list, not a reality list)

+ More cart stealing? (How the hell are they getting back through the border?)

+ I want Miles to apologise to Bass, I don't care what it's for. Just say it.

+ A Ben mention would be nice.

+ AND GIVE ME A GOD DAMN FLASHBACK, SHOW. To pre-Blackout if possible.

It's a million degrees here and I'm dying. It's been over 40 for the third day in a row. And there's TWO more too look forward to!

...I had to buy shorts.

Polar vortex is crazy. We had a foot of snow fall and then two days later it was in the 60s and melted. I miss the crazy weather in South Carolina though.

same here. 12 degrees for two days and then 70 three days later. And we wonder why we're all sick?

Yay agreement.

And omg. I'm so whiney right now. I wish I had 'sorry you had to buy shorts' on a card *laughs*...I'd give it to everyone regardless. But it's a total thing with me because I've survived the last few summers in dresses (short, thin dresses that make me look freakishly tall because I'm mostly leg, but it's not obvious unless I'm out of my jeans. I live in my jeans. I miss my jeans. POCKETS. I HAD POCKETS) and some shorts I got like 10 years ago that don't quite anymore but they sorta do, so I just chuck a long top over the top of them...and now there are new shorts. And they're a little bit cute but I can tell they will in no way last the next 10 years. And I have a massive bruise in the middle of my left leg from where I tripped over the fan the other day.

...like I said, whiney. It's 20-something rn (and not even 7am) and I'm enjoying the coolness before I start melting again.

I wish I could steal your weather.

Yes, agreement is a good thing. ;)

I feel you on the whiney - I've been sick for what seems like four hundred years and I'm over it. Don't worry, it will be 100F here soon enough - and then I'll say "where's winter??" I LOVE POCKETS. I wear dresses a lot in the summer too here; not to work as I have to get up on ladders and it's super physical, but other than that, yes. Yay for bruises. Sigh

I would totally send the weather if I could!

xxoo

Thank you, and IKR - Rachel...did you have a personality transplant?

I loved S1 Rachel, she was deliciously focused, practical and unapologetic about it.

S2 Rachel is all about Miles, herself, and being catty to Bass.

She's lost so much strength - emotional and physical - she's just weak. And I think it's this Riles storyline, coz she doesn't care about anything else (she knows Charlie will be fine?! Pfffft). She doesn't care about the mystery anymore?

That never made sense to me - why she willingly went into captivity? Or was it because she would prefer being with Miles? Idk.

If it was because she wanted to run off and spend the rest of her life with Miles (while maintaining the right to whine about how she lost contact with her kids) I'm moving her down (WAY DOWN) on my internal ranking of characters. I wouldn't have thought it possible last season, but this season? Miles is the one. How can anything compare.

We really do need that fleshed out more.

What is getting me through this weird series of episodes is the knowledge that New Vegas is in her future. And Grace will be in this episode. The rest I am all very weary about.

OH YES. Me too.

I'm 40% sure that Miles is just going to continue being a dick for the rest of Mexico until Bass is like - YOU KNOW WHAT. TIMEOUT. BROTHER. CONNOR-CONNER GET IN THE CART WE'RE GOING. CHARLIE...THERE'S ROOM FOR ONE MORE. (I too am a shameless Charm shipper, and if he invites her to N.V that'd kinda make my day - like a reverse Riles invite to Mexico)

+ I want a lot more Charlie this ep. ALOT MORE.

I do too! I really liked the idea of Charlie and Gene in the last episode, except I want more of them. We are getting too much Neville/Aaron and not enough Charlie.

+ Rachel needs to tone it the hell down. If she wants to be mean to someone, she can be mean to Insta.

Rachel agreed to go on the roadtrip to keep Miles from going crazy. Not that I think it was a good reason because there's no development going on there, why couldn't it have been Charlie? I get it, Bass was responsible for killing your son, but at the same time, he didn't pull the trigger himself.

+ Miles needs to ACT like he loves Bass. If he could stand up for him, or protect him just one frickin time on this stupid road trip that'd be nice.

I don't get their relationship at all lately. Yes they were friends for years and then they ruled a nation together, but they have also been really horrible to each other throughout these years too. (Emma cheated on Miles with Bass, Miles hid his son and so many more)

I really don't care about Aaron/Priscilla, I just want more Grace and to find out what she's doing in Oklahoma, which is a long way from Colorado.

+ A Ben mention would be nice.
+ AND GIVE ME A GOD DAMN FLASHBACK, SHOW. To pre-Blackout if possible.

Could both of these wishes come true at the same time? I want a Ben flashback to see more about his relationship with Miles/Bass pre-Blackout, I mean if Miles and Bass were as close as everyone claims them to be, then of course, Ben should be close to them too. And if not, why is Ben not close with them? But I'm not holding my breath on this. No, not at all.

...I had to buy shorts.

In weather like that, I wear skirts, much more comfortable and the skirts are longer while being cool at the same time. Meanwhile, it's been freezing here, so I'm not sure whether I would rather have it cold or hot.

Yes! I think an episode focused on Charlie and Gene could work, they just need to DO IT. And IDK it felt Aaron light last week - we need to cut down the Neville time. Coz that's consistently pointless.

I don't get their relationship at all lately. Yes they were friends for years and then they ruled a nation together, but they have also been really horrible to each other throughout these years too.

It made sense until 2.09...when the blackmail started and Miles raised my eyebrows into my hairline. I'm sort okay with the horribleness because they (for lack of a better word) broke up and went from codependent assholes to individual assholes with even bigger chips on their shoulders. They needed to 'hate' each other in order to get up every day and keep going. It was survival.

But this 'bringing my not-girlfriend (who hates you and will try and guilty trip you about your past actions/her dead son every five seconds) on my sorry-I-blackmailed-you-thanks-for-keeping-my-family-alive road trip, to recover the most important person in the world to you, just coz I'm worried I'm as evil as you are' is complete BS.

if Miles and Bass were as close as everyone claims them to be, then of course, Ben should be close to them too. And if not, why is Ben not close with them?

Yes yes yes yes yes. I need to know.

In weather like that, I wear skirts, much more comfortable and the skirts are longer while being cool at the same time. Meanwhile, it's been freezing here, so I'm not sure whether I would rather have it cold or hot.

I like shorts because you don't have to worry they might blow up, you can just walk and go about your business. Plus - pockets. I love pockets. Without them I'm less of a person. More of a creature clutching her ipod in one had, rolling her eyes.

I WOULD RATHER BE COLD, IF YOU'RE LISTENING UNIVERSE.

I kind of lump Aaron and the Nevilles together so there's usually too much of them. Mostly because I'm bored with the Nevilles and don't really get what's going on or why should I care about them? I'm not excited about Priscilla coming back, though I like Grace. (or rather, haven't gotten a chance to hate Grace yet)

It made sense until 2.09...when the blackmail started and Miles raised my eyebrows into my hairline

Yeah, I don't get why Miles needs him now because when Charlie brought Monroe back in 2.05, Miles wanted nothing to do with him and now it's all "yes I'm going to blackmail you because I know how desperate you are for a family" Sigh.

(this community is great for venting my frustrations)

Plus - pockets. I love pockets.

Which is why I love my skirts with pockets omg best thing ever!!! But yes, I understand your frustration, I hate heat waves. I like my spring weather!

LOL always looking for the upside, aren't you?

IDK. In my head I have a recurring headfic about Charlie and Bass attending a wedding, getting really drunk at the pre-reception (because that's a thing) and accidentally breaking their promise to keep it in their pants for the weekend when they accidentally let the Wedding planner seduce them. The wedding planner who is Adam, because that amused me the most when I pictured Miles hearing about why the terrible twosome are hiding behind the potted plants.

It also amused me to imagine a world where Charm basically sleep with everything, but each other, and that's sort of their thing. It bonds them. But secretly they have more extensive feelings for each other that they're avoiding like WHOA.

*adds ice coolers to her growing collection of icepacks (I have two. Three days ago I had zero. It's becoming a thing)

So (in order of relevance) Monroe's shirtless again. It's the adventures of Charlie and Grandpanda in Patriotland Pt. 2.

Shirtless Bass makes everything better. They should just take his clothes away. ;) And yay for the Charlie & Grandpanda show.

+ I want a lot more Charlie this ep. ALOT MORE.

That's my biggest wish for this ep and the rest of the season.

I'll take your forty degrees and you can come here. It started snowing today :(
