I think Charlie was about 10-11 in the flashback when Rachel left, meaning it was about 9-10 years ago. I think in an interview EM said Rachel has been Monroe's captive for 3-4 years. I wonder what happened during those 5-6 years in between- what did Miles want with her (did Monroe know about it?) and how did she end up with Monroe? Did Miles abandon her and does he even know Monroe has her?

That's what I thought! Or maybe in that clip she could pass for 12...but nothing like 18ish which would cover the four year gap that EM mentioned. So that quote never made any sense to me - but if there was time between Miles turning her over/abandoning her to Monroe and her present situation....THAT'S TERRIBLY INTERESTING.

I think...hmmm I don't know what I think, everything's getting turned on its head a bit now. I think Miles knows where she is, or at least has an idea, and I think at some point he made a choice not to save her...and if creating the milita didn't goad Charlie into call him a monster, this could be the thing that he (always) seems to be waiting for - the thing she can't forgive that'll drive her away.
