The Clock Strikes Out | Bass, Rachel (apparently I'm on a kick) | Clock Tower | T | References to suicide, violence, captivityHe lets her up to the roof every few weeks, two guards at the door. Rachel doesn’t mind them. She can feel the wind in her hair and the bite of frost or blazing sun, depending on the month, so the guards don’t really matter. This is a sensual pleasure, and one she doesn’t take for granted ( ... )

I love Rachel and Bass' dynamic, the physical contact, the banter, but at the end of the day, the threats and captivity.

Thank you! That was my favorite thing about the first half of season 1 - Rachel and Bass' dynamic and how easily their banter swings from genuine affection to remembering why they're there. They're really pretty brutal to watch!

I also loved early S1 Rachel-Bass and kinda shipped them and you've got a great handle on the dynamic, the banter as well as the brutality.
