instant gratification

I can’t describe how irritating this is. How can it be so hard to find a movie that is one of the all time money makers in history! For some reason that I can explain I have had a urge to watch Titanic lately. When the movie came out I saw it multiple times in the theaters but haven’t watched it since. I even at one point owned it but never even un wrapped that copy. Who knows where that is, in some box in California probably? So for a week I’ve been keeping an eye out for it, Target, Wal-mart etc. Not one copy. I can’t find the damn movie anywhere. So I give up doing it for instant gratification and look at Amazon.com, and sure enough there it is, in full special edition…... releasing on October 25th. I just can’t win. On the other hand one of my favorite childhood movies will finally be out on DVD. Cinderella platinum edition comes out October 4th.

Oh, and I forgot to write about my sheets. I picked up beautiful 350 thread count sheets and Tuesday Morning in Denton. They are a medieval paisley in royal blue and just amazing, as I was putting them on my bed I kept thinking what a wonderful dress they would make….. but I need sheets more than I need another dress.

Ok, back to studding for Consumer economics.

Oh PS. Vangie, the horse I want to lease, is doing well. We ride about twice a week and I’m now riding some of my trainers other horses as well. Today we had some really big wind so it was a good opportunity to work her with distraction; blowing plywood, squeaky gates and everything. The result is she’s bomb proof, didn’t even blink an eye. Were still having some issues with leg yields, but I’m not sure if it’s me or her, maybe both. Our last show for the season will be Oct. 30th then we’ll train all winter until the season starts up in March or so.
