La la la la la la
I realized that I've updating this thing in the past month more than I did last year...
Anyway, next week is my finals week and I'm alittle nervous. I've been studying for Instrumental Analysis for a few weeks now so I think I'll do well on that, and to be honest, none of the other classes present much of a challenge. I was forced out of my dorm this weekend so I had my friend Dave (recently imported from Japan) be my moving man and he was amazingly helpful. Although, he made me find a parking space in Brooklyn all by myself, but I parallel-parked for the first time since my road test! I'm glad I got to hang out with him though, it's been many moons since I've teased or nagged him *sniff*.
Tomorrow is my friend Kaelin's 19th birthday party. I kind of have mixed emotions about it. In March I introduced her to a friend of mine and he is going to be at the party, and on my birthday he failed to show and hasn't even called to rectify the pain he caused. He's known me for 8 years and he doesn't show up to my 21st birthday, and he's known her for less than 2 months...
I'm more hurt than I should be I suppose, I'm really trying to live by the rule "no one can make you feel anyway you don't want them to" but it's so damn hard to not be affected by other people.
*sigh*
But, after this week is over I can breathe a sigh of relief and get back into the ol' summer groove. And this time, I'm 21 and have free admission to the Beach Bar on fridays....
