Look how they shine for you...
Tonight, on the way home to HB from play rehearsal, I stared out the window and saw that once again a cloudless night sky hung overhead. It really is beautiful. Small but numerous specks of white against a navy blue backround. Its just so perfect, so delicate looking as if, if you touched it, it would shatter into a million pieces. So I sat there looking at it, in awe, wondering if the clouds would devour the stars tomorrow night, I hope not. It makes the ride home, and the usual pains I have in my stomach at the end of rehearsal, fade away. That's why I sat outside on my porch, just staring at the stars, making out constellations, imagining that someone a million years ago looked at these same stars, and hopefully found the same peace that I find within the night sky.
