L.I.F.E. BMX: Monthly Wrap Up

Dec 08, 2006 10:57

I have been progressing at a fast and steady pace. It has now been a year since I started riding (flatland bmx). I've progressed faster than the average person with the same amount of experience. I have really started to have increased my trick list. My hang 5's are dialed. I just learned forward Hitch-Hikers, and I can balance them for a long time. I am overall pretty happy with my riding abilities. I am finish with school next Monday, and I plan to move into my friend's apartment in Pasadena, TX for the Holiday break. During the break I plan to get a job, save up some money, and buy some new bike parts.

Tricks that I'm working on now are: One Handed Dork Wheelies (without support from the seat), Half-Lashes, riding into a Forward Rope-a-Roni, G-Turn Hang 5's, Mega Spins, Hang 10's (grabbing the seat), switch Hitch-Hikers, switch Half-Hikers, and Whiplashes

If everything goes right, I'll set myself up to learn juggling Hitch-Hikers fairly easy by learning switch Half-Hikers and Hitch-Hikers switch. Also, when I have Half-Lashes dialed; that will bring my riding to new heights. It will help me build up my lexicon of tricks as a ride-in to many back wheel maneuvers.
