Accidents happen
The sun shone brightly on the road with a generous amount of sunlight. With this perfect day at hand, Hara went for a stroll and ended up bumping into one of her close friends.
"Hara-chan~!!" Nina, her friend, called out.
"Ah, Nina-chan. I see you couldn't resist this beautiful day," Hara said.
Nina nodded, "It's just too good and it'll be a waste."

Hara grabbed onto Nina's arm and lead the way. They entered through the doors of the mall at the sight of a large crowd. Nina and Hara got through the sea of people before getting to their favorite store for a snack.

"Rest for a while, ne~? I'm gonna go get us some drinks." Hara proceeded to the counter and returned with a tray of refreshments. Nina quickly grabbed the glass of iced tea and drank half of it in seconds.
"Well, we should be getting home now~" Nina stated after both of them finished drinking their refreshments.

They went out of the mall with ease this time, having less people in it. Dusk fell and everyone else was heading home as well. The two separated, Nina taking a train and Hara walking home. Slowly, the sky got darker and darker, but Hara was used to it since she always passed the same streets on the way home.
Hara cautiously crossed the street. A loud sound became louder and louder, headlights drew closer and brighter; a car was swiftly approaching Hara, leaving her no time to avoid the vehicle. The automobile knocked the helpless girl unconscious, even flying a few centimeters through the air and fell flat on the ground.
"Takaki-sama! What do we do?!" the driver of the vehicle asked his master that was in the back seat.
"Oh no.. Ah, just lift her and put her here in the backseat, we'll take her to the hospital."
The driver gently placed the girl in the backseat of the car and Takaki riding in the front seat beside the driver.
Hara didn't have any wounds except the one on her head that became the reason for her to pass out. They drove to the hospital and went straight to the entrance of the building. Nurses quickly approached them with a stretcher and put her carefully on a bed for her to have a CT Scan.
"There's nothing wrong with her skull," the doctor said while looking at Hara's results, explaining everything to Takaki, "no serious injuries, just a little bleeding due to the impact of the car. She doesn't need to be admitted but the wound on her head needs to be cleaned and her bandage should always be changed."
"Hai, thank you for your time." Takaki stood up and bowed low in gratitude and left the room.
Takaki walked to Hara's room where she was staying, the driver keeping her company.
"Takaki-sama, she woke up but fell asleep again."
"Must be the fatigue. We can leave now, let's just take her to the hotel I'm staying at, I can't afford to pay for my suite and this girl's expenses here," Takaki reasoned.
A nurse came in, woke up Hara and let her sit on the wheelchair where she was half awake. The driver drove the car up front so that Takaki and Hara wouldn't have to go to the car park. They carefully assisted her and let her lie down on the backseat, Takaki sitting in the front seat again.
Arriving at the hotel, they woke up Hara once again and for once, she stayed awake. They took the elevator and slowly walked to Takaki's suite. Having two available rooms, Takaki let her stay in one, placing her gently on the bed.
"Wait," Hara called out before Takaki could leave the room. "Even though you're the reason i got into this mess, thank you.. for taking care of me," Hara blushed lightly.
"As you have said, it is my fault, so I should act responsibly. Wait here, I'll clean your wound," Takaki smile to make Hara feel comfortable around him.
Takaki got the first aid kit available in every suite and walked back to Hara's room.
"Now, lay down. This may hurt a bit, so you might as well get comfy," Takaki suggested.
Hara hesitantly laid down on the soft bed while trying hard not to make eye-contact with the gentleman. She would flinch every time Takaki would clean her wound with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol. The torture was finally over for Hara and all that was needed to be done was to replace the old with a new and clean bandage.
After putting aside the first aid kit, Takaki fixed his gaze on Hara who was blushing bright red. His head tilted, biting his lip while continuing to stare at the girl.
