How to put this delicately. Final Dr. Who blew monkey chunks. BUT since one of my New Year's resolutions is to be less bitchy on LJ, I will instead focus on moments of the finale that I liked.
1. The Doctor visiting all his companions one final time.
2. The Doctor visiting Jack. Where is Jack? Who knows. But I was so afraid the Doctor wouldn't get to say goodbye to Jack.
3. The Doctor's talk with Donna's grandfather. So sweet.
4. The Master saving the Doctor at the end. Ok, he was really just on his vengeance kick, but I thought it was still slasherfic.
5. The Doctor trying to convince the Master to go on a gay planetary cruise with him.
I spent the last few days with Dana watching Sherlock Holmes, Tinman and Terminator Salvation. Despite her best attempts, I still refused to watch New Moon. I also went shopping because she is a terrible influence on me. I love Sherlock Holmes. So much gay yet awesome women characters at the same time. Salvation was ok. Tinman was fun except for the last half.
I get to go back to my apartment tomorrow. Sadface.
