I don't like to describe my dreams in detail, so I'm not gonna. Repeating dreams and dream categories fascinate me, though. Here are the ones I get

1. Big scary monsters or people reeking havoc. I've sometimes been injured in these and I can really feel the injury happening and then I wake up. 2. Frustration with being unable to get somewhere or do something, or others thwarting my actions. 3. My sons when they were young. My last dream this morning involved my son Nik at about 10 years old, lying in bed waking up and I cuddled with him and asked how it was going. He said something I didn't understand and then something about people telling him he "looks good" and he was smiling, and I told him that was great but I had to get ready for work and not to lie in bed too long. We hugged and then I woke up.
-exploring a house--usually mine--and trying to find "my" room--the one with my books.
-weathering apocalypse or tornadoes... enough said. Usually involves hiding out in a basement.
-didn't go to class all semester and have to take in the exam/turn in the paper. Usually college. Sometimes high school, but those usually end up with me going, "Eff this, I'm over THIRTY. WHY am I in high school?"
-trying to get somewhere--work or school--and having every method of transportation fail.
1. I usually group your "malfunction" type (telephones) with other frustration/anxiety dreams like getting lost while driving or packing for a trip (for hours and hours).
2. I have dreams based on TV or movies, which are pretty dang cool.
3. Completely cool fantastical worlds, which I try to write down in a notebook if I remember them at all.
4. When I experience pain in a dream, it's usually because part of my body is hurting while I'm sleeping... like once while laying on my arm, my arm was tingling, and I dreamed that a cat was scratching and biting my arm. I woke up, shifted, things went fine after that.
5. Dreams about pregnancy! Weird, but these have only occurred two or three times that I remember.
