I hate being cold when I'm tired....
Today is Saturday the 13th. My shift at starbucks was 7:30-4:00. This shift on a Saturday really is a tough one. Every day I say, "we were so busy.." well today was the busiest so far. I am not kidding when I say that the place was packed for my entire eight and a half hour shift (drive thru included). I ran around (literally) all day long. When I got off I was so worn out that I fell asleep immediately upon arriving into my bedroom at 4:30. I am ready for these days to be over!
The rest of my night was spent at Borders reading Lord of the Rings. I thought I liked Barnes and Noble better...and...well..I do. However, I can't stay away from Border's because I have become addicted to their Hot Buttered Rum Flavored coffee with sugar-free hazelnut. It is SOOOOOOO good.
Tomorrow I will be spending the day playing foosball with Katie. I bought her a game table for Christmas with foosball, pool, ping-pong, airhockey,
shuffleboard, and miniature bowling. It brings me back to the days when I would take care of Angela's animals me and Andy would play a zillion rounds of Foosball in her basement. I LOVE foosball...YEA! I'm going to beat her butt tomorrow!! I really miss Katie and her kids. I feel like I never see her. I got really sad about it last night. We have never been in such different points in our life before. Maybe that's what makes me sad. There is just this sadness that is weighing in my heart. Sort of like what I would imagine a parent would feel like when their child is going away to college. You know what's happening is good...but it is still very sad. I think I'm going to cry.
My cat is sick..and I don't mean with the flu. He is so mean and I'm so sick of him! He knocked over a glass in my room today. There were shards evvverywhere. Lesley, do not be alarmed. I know we have not spoken of my cat yet (when we were talking about being potential roomies). You should know right now that my cat will be locked in my room at all times!!!! I will never let him hurt you!!! You must never open my door and you will be safe!! Please do not reject me on behalf of my demonic cat!! I hope you will trust me!
Time for me to get in bed and read.
