I emailed the Sooty City Fair Housing group to see if they knew of any programs that could help someone like me. I'm not their target demographic, they have programs for seniors, the mentally ill, the chronically poor, veterans, minorities who are being discriminated against, people with poor credit and people who can't scrape together a down ( Read more... )

Still did not find dvd cord. Not good.

Phone service was supposed to begin yesterday.

No phone service as of last night.

Realized the two phone jacks might be seperate phone lines as I was on my way out the door this morning but it was too late to check. Doubt it, but will check before I call to get connected to India to get connected to the US to scream and complain.

Spent last night playing happy homemaker. We moved the vast majority of my stuff, (we being me, MS, CW, Dr. F and M's son D). Managed to get most of it there but will have to go back next week for at least one more truck load. Somehow, despite moving into a larger apartment with no furniture, the place filled up before the old one was emptied. ( Read more... )
