moving: still DOA
I emailed the Sooty City Fair Housing group to see if they knew of any programs that could help someone like me. I'm not their target demographic, they have programs for seniors, the mentally ill, the chronically poor, veterans, minorities who are being discriminated against, people with poor credit and people who can't scrape together a down payment. I really won't be surprised if there is nothing they can do for someone who has a down payment, good credit and is employed above the poverty level, but I figured if anyone would know about alternative ways to get a home, they would and maybe they could point me in the right direction.
