thesis watch: cookie update

Took some cookies in to work to share. (I still have plenty of mix at home.)
You are now beloved by many scientists and techs you have never met, including C, M, S, Dr B, Dr. E, Dr. J and Dr. E again.
Dr. F conceded they were good, as did Boss, but their level of enthusiasm was somewhat tempered by better eating habits. Still, Boss really liked them. There may be some leverage here.
General message:
In other news, C thinks I'm being too hard on Boss because I sent him a chapter draft the Monday before last, he didn't even print it out much less look at it until last Thursday when he went away for four days, and his only comment so far was 'some of your figures don't have to be this big.'
On two 25 page, single spaced documents and more than 12 figures. No further comments. This will be at least 60 pages in the final thesis. I don't expect a fine-toothed comb reading but a 'ooh, this could be a problem' check would be nice.
Considering thesis must be to committee by the 16th, I feel justifiably pissed. C reminds me that if I fail, it doesn't look good for Boss either.
(Nawilla refrains from mentioning that this has never stopped Boss before. Argh).
