BOOT CAMP!

Back from staffing boot camp. It was stressful, but overall it was fun. Let’s see, the first day we got there, I had to unload the medical supplies from the van, somebody thought I was from Texas and I started doing sea bag inspections. Needless to say, it was fun. I was told tat I was the meanest Petty Officer doing the inspections! That is so awesome bcuz I beat Chief Lat and PO1 Divarco! haha, I made a few kids cry! “5-4-3-2-1... 5-4-3-2-1... The only thing that we are learning here is that I know how to count from 5 to 1, HURRY UP!” Saturday I woke up early and did more inspections. Pretty fun. Moz-Lee started calling me Texas. lol. People started coming down to medical on Sunday. Crazy. They were sore, had blisters, dehydrated and one girl said that she needed a soda, I laffed! Monday was pretty good. Guys got their heads shaved. It was sad bcuz some of them were really good looking with hair. Then on Tuesday things started to get weird. Guys were telling me that they were coming down to medical to see me. I mean yea, it’s a compliment, but not the right time or place. Wednesday I started to get really stressed, half of the staff left and I was sooo sad. I was crying and people kept asking me what was wrong so I lied and told them I had allergies. I can’t let people see “the hardass” cry. Thursday was hell. It was hot, sticky and gross. People were dropping like flies. Luckily I was there to help them out though. On the way to the drill hall, I had like 9 little nasties (aka cadets or recruits) collapse. We fixed em up though. Cadets were still coming down to medical to see me. Good, but bad at the same time. Friday ppl wouldn’t listen to me so I held a cleaning crew on Saturday and they cleaned. It was like 7 cadets and out of them, only 2 apologized. I thanked them and told them that they had real potential. The other cadets were talking and told me that the only reason they got in trouble was that so they could come down and see me. Every time they looked at me I felt degraded. The whole week ppl were asking me how old I was, I had 17 and 18 yr olds thinking I was 17 and a few of them asked me out. Crazy shit. Today I felt so proud. It was graduation and I realized that if I wasn’t there, half of the cadets there would have been sent home. I had the greatest feeling of accomplishment. After graduation, I wrote my email on a lot of guys’ arms, it was hilarious. They were awesome. Shout out to ADAM MOSLEY, ANTHONY QUEHL, KYLE KING, EVANS, BRAD WICHT, DAVID WHIPPLE, DUSTY AND KOREY MILNER, TAYLOR, COOK AND DOM. Especially Dom, who got honor cadet!!! I am so proud of him. Then I got home and found out that my step mom is pregnant and she might divorce my dad and give the baby up for adoption. I hope she doesn’t though, I mean after all, it still is my little sibling too. I might find and add pix of boot later!
