well, this is the first time i ever did cubicle work, so obviously ive found a few sites to keep me entertained (awake) during downtime
among my favorites are

zug.com (hilarious articles/pranks by my new favorite web comedian john hargrave)
theonion.com (thank god for it)
msnbc.com (the only e-news fix i trust)
everything else is just a clusterfuck of pages i use for personal enjoyment.
feel free to recommend anything that doesnt involve sound, at the very least, as i dont have speakers on this (crap) machine they assigned to me
