last night cortlin and i played bingo.
he won fifty-five dollars on bingo and i won ten dollars on instants, but i think the experience was much more exciting than the money. sounds of random numbers in between bingo calls and people ripping their instant tickets and the bingo computers chirping and regulars being regulars, topped off by the casual buildup of nicotine stench. i was amazed. people do this every fucking week. and the crowd of people there was nothing less than entertaining. the woman sitting across from us was going on and on about how it took two hours for her daughter's eye exam that day, so she bitched out the doctors, claiming that she could have given a "fucking eye transplant" in that amount of time. then she scolded me for smoking cigarettes as she chainsmoked all evening and smiled at me with her four teeth. it wasn't just her though, most of the crowd was like that. beyond ridiculous.
i'm totally going next week. and bringing my camera.
