(no subject)
Life is crazy. This week is crazy. But we are getting through it. Nothing too bad, really its more that there is just SO MUCH in slow little time.
My Principal just decided today that he is going to give me my class base because the inclusion in regular third grade isn't working out for my retainee students and a few of my 2nd grader retainees have been promotoed to 3rd mid-year. So I've got until Monday to get it all in order to have an actual classroom set up since the bigwigs from downtown might actually come in and give a rat's ass about what I do and FCAT is in March...ACK!!! So not ready!!!!!!!! I wish the damn school was open on weekends. Thus is the reality of underpaid people....ugh
So this should be interesting, but I am so happy to have a classroom of my very own rather then the crappy running back and forth from classroom to classroom to see how my kids are doing.
I am excited.
Now for more craziness.
My husband's Squadron Xmas party is tomorrow. Who knows how that will go since I don't know anyone since no one does a damn thing with each other on this pathetic lousy base.
Mr. Press is driving down Friday because he misses my husband so damn much from the good ole' Truman days to visit us for a few days. Ah, old shipmates never die...
And we got the kitty a doc appt for Friday morning. I'd love for them to find a microchip on her so her crappy ex-owners could get fined up the wazoo for dumping her ($500) but I know its not gonna happen. Keep your fingers crossed for us that we don't find anything wrong with her so that we can bring her into our humble home.
