(no subject)
If any of you have ever thought about joining the military, don't. :P Dammit, they just keep leaving! The big deployments you expect. But the rest of the time it would be nice if they were home a lot. Oh no.
Feb 15-18, March 2-4 (supposed to be the whole week, first half cancelled due to weather),March 7-11, March 21-25, and now March 30-April 1. Oh, and there's plenty more. In April-June there's a few 10 day underways, and then all of July he'll be gone, and then September through March. How GRACIOUS to give us August :P I'm not trying to complain, it could be worse, I'm actually more mocking it. Some guy I was talking to on base said not all boats go out so much, but the smaller ones like the Destroyers have a knack for it. That figures :P I keep plenty busy so I'm not worried about it. The nights get a little lonely, but it makes the ones they are here all that much more special.
All the luck in the world to you, Sammi. I know you can do it ;) All the crap you deal with, you are one of the strongest people I know. Hell, all of you who read this are tough as steel. You guys are strong, and the best. I'm getting all sentimental and gushy, so it's time for me to leave and go home to hear Matt and Aspen next door debate on who's going to go see what the baby needs this time ;) They are so cute. One of these nights we're going to barbeque with them, now that we have our little cute grill. Will write more later!
