Многие греки говорят, что, мол, у нас с вами, русскими, прям стока общего, что ваще. Я, правда, из общего усматривала только наше размудяйство национального масштаба ;)

Но похожести начинают обнаруживаться. Все ведь помним мифическую музу Каллиопу? Так вот на греческом армейском жаргоне "kalliopi" означает не что иное, как гальюн. Прямо как наше ( Read more... )

Woooooow Dionisi, I'm shocked :))) thanx a bunch again for your kind enlightement of a simple down-to-earth process engineer :)))) In fact none of the posts of mine is meant to belittle the accomplishments of the Greek people in the historical view... I'm just describing my daily routine nothing else.

By the way, my name really has smth to do with Ukraine since I'm half Ukrainian...
