*good sigh* I've nearly finished my first week as a full time office girl, it's great. My offical title is 'research assistant & data manager' and the work is more interesting than it sounds. I've also taken on some nursing duties, so I spend about an hour a day spinning blood samples and then decanting them into different vials or making microscope slides to be shipped all over the world. The clinic I work for helps conduct trials for new drugs, so the rest of my time is devoted to recruiting and screening patients who might be interested. Also drinking free coffee. If all goes well with our major drug trial I'll even be flown off to a Melbourne conference for a few days eee! (Not for months though.)

I'm very pleased with how things are going, on all fronts :)
