ha! i survived a 16 hour shift back-to-back. i have slept about 10 hours out of 48. they really fucked with my schedule. i said i would help out, but i didn't think that they'd take advantage and sneak in 40 hours in a week. i'm only part-time, i should be having at the very least 20 hours a week. the director gave me some bull about giving them 30 days prior to the new schedule for any requests. i didn't know that, i thought they atleast give me some input in my schedule. i just learned how to look up schedule until recently, and now i have a month of this. and still don't have access to the database nor the computer class for it, but they still made me work and wing my way around things. thank god, there wasn't a code blue during my shifts. on my first month of orientation, there were already 3 codes, one of the patients died on the floor.

i have a mandatory 6 months stay until i can even leave for another floor.

lita, what's your plan for your b-day? i have work on your b-day. i was invited to go to ren fest on the 11th but i have 16 for the entire weekend.

the only solace about the whole thing is the money. what' sleep when you have money, right? right? it feels like a friday.
