2PM: "Heartbeat" MV
You know that thing I do where I quietly "research" a new fandom when I should really be dragging you guys along, and then suddenly I reappear and have new interests? I'm into 2PM now! They're junk food, and I haven't replaced anyone, but now I know things about them and have opinions. Bear with me.
"Heartbeat" MV just came out tonight. I love it. Taecyeon looks fucking gorgeous at the beginning with his ponytail and his body and everything. Chansung: ♥ as usual. I don't know WTF is with Nichkhun's and Junho's hair, but I guess it's okay since they're not my primary lust objects.
WOOYOUNG. My love. In a shocking twist, Wooyoung has taken Jaebum's place as second lead vocal and lead acrobat/dancer. Not two hours before this MV was released I was complaining to exitwinesburg about how Wooyoung's talents have been suppressed by The Man in order to let lesser members shine, and wow, my fangirl wishes have been fulfilled in record time.
I was enjoying a 6-member 2PM before this development, but now I am actively hoping Jaebum will not come back. Unfortunately, the promotion for their new album seems entirely focused on his absence and imminent return. SIGH.
I accidentally saw some hateration by very confused people who've forgotten that the selling point of 2PM is how ridiculously bad they are at fulfilling their idol duties. Good hair, clothes, singing, choreography, perfs. -- there's no need to trouble yourself with such trivial details while watching 2PM. It's practically their concept.
