Diary Entry - Family Bonds
I believe hell came close to freezing over or at least the ice is beginning to thaw somewhat. My sister came a calling and had something for show and tell. It seems a certain gentleman has a way with the ladies and I am glad that the manner in which he treated a former cousin was quite different in approach to that he employed with my sister. I was also able to make introductions between my sister and my lady. I can't quite picture them becoming friends and this is a good thing I believe. Were they to grow close, I would be forced to wonder at each of their motives as it would not be a natural nor a comforting thing to witness.
I look forward to hearing more of my sister's trials and tribulations in her game with the dark gentleman. Having played my own small part in ensuring her package was delivered, I think I have earned the right to stay informed of her progress. To think she had never been ... no, I shall not include that here. It is not a secret I am glad to have discovered. Thankfully at least her brother and mine is quite the opposite. I look forward to meeting him, should he make it to Amber any time soon.
Talk of family reminds me to pay a call on Valentine. Unless one of his ladies has dragged him off on another wild goose chase, he might have finished his work.
