fit for summer

Right now I'm feeling bloated and gross.

I'm coming to the end of my ~woman's troubles and seriously cannot wait until that thick, full feeling goes away from my stomach!

Also, I've been eating a lot more sweets as well, so that's not helping at all.

Anyway, my goal (which has been in effect for some time) is to try and get down to a size 10, but more than that to just generally tone my arms, thighs and bum. It sucks being tall because I have to buy at least a 12 for length, generally, but just to know I could fit a pair of size 10 jeans past my knees would be a massive achievement.

It's also coming up to summer and I am desperate to have at least some kind of bikini body to show off.

So, here is the current plan, which will need some refining.

THE GOAL: Size 10 by January (that's about 10 weeks) - failing that, smaller, toned bum and thighs

THE EXERCISE: Pilates DVD (about 50 minutes) every 2nd day; Skipping (15 minutes) every 2nd day. Some type of running or free weights on alternate days? Power yoga?

THE DIET: for quick weight loss, the Sacred Heart Diet for heart patients is said to be extremely effective. The diet seems to be really healthy and tasty vegetable stuff - chicken and fish are optional, beef is recommended - which is perfect for me. I've found I've really lost the taste for meat. How weird. Anyway it is based around vegetable soups and snacks (and a little fruit) which I adore! I'm going on the diet probably next week, finances allowing, as that's when I'll need to do another shop and be done with my mammoth weekend coming up.

I'm going to buy a set of scales and weigh myself every day to keep track of my metabolism.

OH EM GEE, I AM SO EFFING EXCITED.

I think I'm going to document it scientifically as well with some digital camera photos. Must remember to pick that up once I get back to Sydney.
