Itching for something new
Here I go changing my layout again. I decided to suck it up and try the new style system, which has not turned out too badly if I say so myself. Although I'll admit I had trouble finding a layout they had I liked. But alas, through the fun use of the 'customize' tool, I have made the colors match my icon, and have had some fun with the text. w00t. So for at least a little while, this is my new LJ look. I was hoping for something more summery and fun, but I think I like this for now. The icon is in honor of my long-term love, Ouran High School Host Club, and features one of the twins (Hikaru, Kaoru, who knows which one...). Cute! Well hooray.
New in life? Uh... playing more Kingdom Hearts 2. And helping Mikey with his cosplay for Anime Expo! Wish I could go... I wanted to cosplay this year as Yuffie, Kingdom Hearts (original) style. But alas, timing isn't good. Maybe someday! :) I still have a list of charactesr I wanna cosplay as if I ever have the time/money. For now, helping friends do their costumes works for me!!!! :)
On a completely different note, it has been way too hot. Makes me happy for once that I get to spend hours working in an air conditioned environment. I'm hoping that Friday (day off) I can hit up the pool with Emily. We're planning a sleepover - it's been too long since our last one! Knowing us we'll giggle lots about our new apartment, start planning our house-warming party waaaay too early, and talk about the guys we're both sort of seeing. Fun right? Only if you throw in the new banana creme treats from Starbucks, and mix up the night with either a movie or some jewelry making! Ahhhh life is good.
