Port Royal is a town that thrives on gossip. The ladies gossip all of the time about everyone. No one can keep a secret here. That’s why I’m just barely trusted with this one. I honestly believe that it is the only truly unknown secret in the whole port. This, I am certain, is because I am the only person (save for the man to whom it belongs) who knows of its existence. It is a very important secret, its release could break hearts and possibly send my best friend to the noose.
But if they escaped, we could all become pirates… and get rich… and girls too - well, I would anyway. Andy is another matter entirely and Jamie is far too anal, shy, and up tight for girls anyway, he puts them off. Hmm… pirates. I love pirates… they always get the girl. Oh, right, noose. So that is why Andy and I are the only people who know about his undying and unfortunately unrequited love for - Clang! - Oh, it’s mess… mmm, food.
I totally have this image of Theo being slightly ADD and having a mild admiration which at times slightly borders on obsession for pirates. I think he’s a lady’s man too. I wrote this during history. And Andrew’s secret love? Tell me who you think it is? (I really meant to leave it up to the imagination in retrospect, but I was thinking of someone in particular when I was writing it.
