I touched Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach!!!

WOW DELICIOUSNESS!!!
On May 5, I decided to go to the Papa Roach concert that was bein held at Toads- a local night club that has interesting ppl playin there every once in a while. I am SOOOOO glad that I went. It was TOTALLY worth it... rather than write it all again (yes, I'm THAT lazy) I'll paste it from an email I sent to my friend....
i'm all sickly and broken and beat up but its pretty cool i almost got killed at the papa roach concert last night or rather, crushed to death.
i wasnt gonna go, but i saw the lead singer outside of toads (Jacoby Shaddix a.k.a. Coby Shaddix a.k.a. Coby Dick- dunno exactly what name he goes by for sure). i was walkin back from dinner at J.E. (Jonathan Edwards- one of the colleges on campus), and i was passin in front of Toads, and i heard all these girls screaming. i was on the other side of the street so i looked- and it was Jacoby walkin around the front of the tour bus to get in. deliciousness. he was SOOOOOOO hot. probably the only time in my life I have actually looked at someone and been weak in the knees. I looked at him, and was like "wow, thats kewl, i know who he is!!"...well, ok, it was more like "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE IS 10 FEET AWAY" and then started crossin the street, and turned back and he was lookin at me again... so i smiled, and he smiled back and got into his tour bus. and i just kinda stood there starin at the bus...i couldn't believe what just happened. and i KNOW it was me he was starin at...cause i did that really stupid thing where you turn and look BEHIND you... and when i turned back he was still lookin at me, kinda laughin a little. how embarassing! lolz....sooo.... i totally freaked out and ran back to the room (well...didnt run, but was just "WOW THAT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY life FOREVER IN THE WORLD!!) and called Ash...and she told her grandma that a rockstar was checkin me out and smiling at me and her grandma said to me "don't be stupid! you should have jumped him!" lolz it's amazing to have an old grandmother tellin u that u should have jumped the rockstar and climbed into his band...or at least asked for an autograph.
sooo... guess what i did. i was crazy and went to toads by myself. really scary 'cause i've never been to a concert by myself...and this was the stand up and try not to get killed kind. :p
i got there and kinda stood around for a while...then ended up makin friends with these two big burly fireman guys. they were pretty cool. so, they let me stand in front of them before the concert started, so i could see...which was nice of them. and then these stupid boys started a mosh pit, and they were throwin people around, and somehow got this girl flyin through the air...the burly fireman were cool and kept ppl
from smashing into me...in all the chaos i made my way up front, and grabbed onto the railing and didnt let go the entire concert.
the first concert was good, it was a band called No Warning. things were kinda calm. the second concert was Trust Company, who was also really good. but ppl got crazier during this one. i ended up standing between this guys arms, and he kept ppl from smashing me, which was kewl...then he left. although...it was kinda sketchy at the same time...he wasn't really old or anything, just that it was sort of an..."intimate" way to be standing with someone...
soo...i was up front, but didnt have a full grip on the railing because i was shoved out of the way. but i still had a hold of it, with both hands, but not like i had earlier. soo...papa roach starts and
everything gets crazy. they were really awesome, by the way. people shove forward, and so we're all being smashed against the people around us...i had to deal with this bitch who was standin next to me who kept
throwin herself into me to get me to move..umm..HELLO, but i cant help it that she's in front and there are several HUNDRED people behind me... not my fault. but she kept yellin things at me, kicking me, shoving
into me and whatever. so i shoved and kicked her harder and yelled at her. and then because of the movement of people she ended up under my arm..cause she was shorter than me. so she started jumping up and down and smashing my hand that was holding onto the railing by her. i figured out that if i stood on my toes and lifted up my arm i was okay..it still hurt, but i didnt think she would break my arm. she didnt stop, so i kicked her really hard and shoved my elbow into her neck. she stopped.
hmm... soooo..... the concert was goin on, and it was really really cool. ppl were crowd surfing onto the stage and were bein taken off and stuff. and i touched Jacoby several times as he came and stood in front
of us. and i SWEAR he recognized me.... not that i have proof, but come on now, that is just really cool. and it makes up for me almost dying during the concert. he is SO HOT. OMG... i really cant tell how awesome it actually was.
seriously... it was crazy... i was crushed at one point so much that i thought i had broken my ribs. seriously....ur not supposed to have that much pressure on your ribs. and then one of the crowd surfers fell on top of me... that hurt.
hmm.. but i got a pick...and i touched Jacoby, and he held my hand... and the drummer grabbed my hand too...and he threw his drumstick and i caught it (the other two girls in front of me grabbed it too...but that was kewl) then the bitch grabbed it and was beating us up for it. it really bothered me. i wish i had had those fireman guys with me at that point...cause she would have stopped. she was rediculous. i have never met a bigger bitch in my life (even though she was small). she was tryin to break me over it. lol.
wow... and no i'm totally bruised and broken for it. but i survived! yay me!! and kewl stuff happened. what is cooler than gettin to see a rockstar and touch him? i dont know... i think my uncle has the
cake...cause he's in a band. and he's my uncle. and i know him. lolz but wow!!! how many girls can say that jacoby shaddix was smiling at ONLY THEM (and lookin at them at least 3 times)??? I have no idea... but
thats pretty special considering he sees dozens of girls EVERY DAY...and he had JUST past a bunch of em. hehe...
soo...that was my excitement. at the concert....kind of a lame way to end it...but seriously...how many people get the chance to TOUCH a rockstar....let alone have him SMILE at you!!!??? That was seriously the best day of my life up until this point...at least in dealings with famous people. :p
