Maybe... she saw some blank squares and thought she was playing the game “Mine Sweeper” like the computer game. Therefore, she was checking boxes that she thought were “Mines” and was striving for the high score. I guess it still doesn’t excuse her for being retarded and not following directions when told, “DON’T MARK THE FUCKING SQUARES.” But at least then you could say that she used proper English.
