Thursday!
Well, the day started off extremely slow, just chilling @ home and helping around. My sister forwarded me an e-mail and it seems Mindcrime Productions needed some PAs so I called and they wanted me to help out. Seems like I'll be a PA (production assistant for those not film vocab. savvy) on their commercial shoot. Here's a quick description:
"Mindcrime" seeking volunteer crew - Coordinator, 2nd AD, PA's, & Editor. We are one of the five finalists for the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival put on by Chrysler, Hypnotic, and Universal Pictures. To win we must deliver a screenplay and a scene from that script. We will shoot the scene for two days Mon. July 28 & Tues. July 29, and we need some volunteer help starting now until wrap and returns on Wed. July 30
So ya, I'm a PA now (bitch work), but it's cool, lots of experience and meeting cool people. Met some people from Hypnotic Productions today, a guy who was roommates w/ The Ataris, and hopefully I'll get some good experience from this. I saw the back to the future car on the lot also, it was near by + the night rider one, cool stuff! No pics though, cuz that's against lot policy. But this project will put me in LA till next Wednesday or so... even though I want to return to SB.
Chilled w/ David and Netta today also, that was cool. You guys are awesome, keep it real!
