First time watching BBC in ages, but I just had to tune in for the Twelfth Doctor announcement. And even if Steven Moffat managed to annoy me in a two-minute-long clip, it doesn't really matter, because the rest of the program was really cute and funny ( Read more... )

I'm really happy for you! \o/

Me, I just can't stand Moffat's writing anymore, it would just spoil Capaldi's performance for me (who's absolutely brilliant), so I just have to pass.

I agree he needs a new companion( i'm betting Clara's gone pretty quickly)

I admit, I have some trouble with the misogyny in some of Moffatts writing. But with all the discussion about this i'm sure he will turn it down or the BBC will make him.

Besides, the whole point of Clara was the mystery about her multiple deaths, and that's being explained. And there's literally nothing else to the character. So either they sit down and write her something, hobbies, dreams, a freaking job, or they should just drop her and write a new companion.

I have this feeling Moffat's actually having fun with all the accusations of misogyny. It has come to the point that every time he does an interview he drops something offensive in between answers. And this time he even offended the bloody Queen. Sadly it looks like the only ones who care are the fans, but the BBC doesn't really give a fuck. =_=

I want Donna back. ;_;

I'll probably check out Capaldi's first episode, but yeah, I don't see myself getting back into it until Moffat's gone...

I had to unfollow a couple of persons yesterday on tumblr because they were already shipping his Doctor and Clara.

No. Nope. Doesn't matter that the character has always been a thousand years old, that's fiction. But the fact that what we see is a man almost forty years older than the woman he's supposed to be in a relationship with, that's disturbing.

And sadly, Moffat being Moffat, there definitely will be a lot of smirking and sexual harrasment played for laughs and NO. Not for me.
