So I brought home this big book of Hokusai and Hiroshige prints from the library. While I was surfing, Gabby cracked it open and immediately asked for a piece of paper. She disappeared for a while and came back with this:

She got it from Hokusai's "Thunderstorm Beneath the Summit" from Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji




She got the blue fading to darkness at the top, the curly clouds, the green hills of the background, the snow (white crayon doesn't show up too good on top of black--lesson learned to leave white part blank), and even the title and chop on the left.

All I could say was "Wow, Gabby. This is amazing. Are you sure you're still 5?"

"No," she said, offended. "I'm 5 1/2."
