January Clearance Sales

Jan 13, 2006 14:27

So I went to the mall last night in search of a kitten calendar for the eldest. She thinks she's going to get her life organized or something. Anyway, lo and behold, the year-end clearance sidewalk sales had just started. OH NOES! There went all my walking around money for the next month.

Final Score:
-Orange Eddie Bauer lamb's wool zip hoodie sweater: $15.00 marked down from $98.00
-Black suede Clogs $20.00 marked down from $60.00
-Black suede purse $15.00 marked down from $50.00
-Misc. dangly earrings and hair accessories from Claire's 10 for $5.00, marked down from a total of $60.00
-Thomas Pynchon's "Mason and Dixon" Hardcover (gently used) $5.00
-Christopher Paolini's "Eragon" Trade Paperback (poorly used) $5.00
-Frothy confection of black lace with metal ring accents bra and panty set from Victoria's Secret $30.00 marked down from $70.00

I had a cute ice blue down-filled winter jacket with a faux-fur hood picked out as well but felt bad about spending another $50 (down from $110) so I decided to put it back on the rack. Maybe if I can convince Corey that the Victoria's Secret purchase should be filed under "entertainment expense" rather than "personal expense", I can go back and get that jacket this weekend. I'll just try on my new OMG SEXAY undies, a pair of high heels, maybe do a little dance and see what happens. ;)
